2022 marks the 90th anniversary of the Ukrainian Holodomor.
It is vitally important to keep advocating for its recognition as genocide by the United States government.
Your actions are crucial for a successful result of our efforts. Below is a sample text that you can use to contact the President to recognize Holodomor as a genocide.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact the

Sample Letter:
Dear President Biden:
Thank you for your continued support of Ukraine. The Russian war in Ukraine is not the first time in history when Russian violence caused mass murder of Ukrainians. Stalin’s forced famine in 1932-1933 killed an estimated 7-10 million Ukrainians during the Holodomor (“murder by starvation”). All genocides must be recognized and acknowledged to effectively learn from history and not repeat such atrocities in the future.

As an American of Ukrainian descent, I respectfully request that you also recognize the 1932-1933 Holodomor as genocide of the Ukrainian nation. Your designation of the Holodomor as genocide would speak truth to power and would redress a historical injustice of establishing U.S. diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union at the height of the Holodomor.
