This film is based on Lesya Ukrainka’s extravaganza drama Forest Song and images
of folk mythology.

The animated film describes the relationship between forest spirits and people.
The main character from among the forest inhabitants is the kind and naïve Mavka,
who wakes in the spring, so that she can wake up the rest of the spirits.
The musician Lukash, to save his sick uncle Lev, leaves the village and goes to
the mysterious and forbidden forest to find the tree of life.
Do not miss this unique opportunity to enjoy Ukrainian animation and a plot that recreates the beauty and magic of Ukrainian mythology.
