 The Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute is sponsoring a recital by the international bass-baritone opera star Pavlo Hunka with pianist Albert Krywolt.

The event is a celebration of the bicentennial of Taras Shevchenko’s birth. The recital will feature Ukrainian Art Songs by various Ukrainian composers based on Shevchenko’s poems and Shakespeare’s sonnets set to music by Oleksandr Jacovchuk.
