This year we are commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Holodomor.

A terrible famine orchestrated by Stalin’s regime to break Ukraine’s aspirations for nationhood. It failed, however millions perished, and the nation is still feeling some of the effects of that tragedy. November is traditionally the month when we remember the victims.

To begin this cycle, in collaboration with North Shore Community College the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America – Boston Branch has opened an exhibit of nine banners Providing pertinent information about the Holodomor, together with a short slide show and a resource desk at the community college library.
