Ukrainian American Youth Association of Boston


Among the objectives of  Ukrainian American Youth Association (UAYA) are to offer Ukrainian youth opportunities for social interpersonal contact a mutual support and to stimulate their spiritual, intellectual, social cultural, educational and physical development.  Emphasis is placed on one's role as a citizen of one's country and one's role s a member of the Ukrainian community.

The youth chapters meet regularly, participating in programs which include discussion groups, sports, singing, arts and crafts, and feild trips.  Lectures and special interest groups enable the youth to broaded their knowledge in areas such as Ukrainian history, geography, literature, and traditions.  Topics are guided by an annual theme and historic anniversaries that are highlighted during the year.
