Ukrainian filmmaker Sergei Loznitsa is subject of a retrospective at the Harvard Film Archive Nov. 8-17. Although mostly known for his documentary films, Loznitsa has received critical acclaim for his fictional features – 2010’s “My Joy,” about the brutalized state of labor in Ukraine, and 2012’s moody “In the Fog,” about partisans in World War II. The series also includes Loznitsa’s most recent film, “Maidan.”
