The nonprofit organization Ukrainian New Wave, in cooperation with the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA), is proud to present a cultural tour featuring the artistic team of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade as part of Ukrainian Days for the Ukrainian-American community in the United States. The tour is scheduled to take place from March 24 to April 15, 2025. The tour will include stops in: New York, NY - Washington, DC - Philadelphia, PA - Hartford, CT -Boston, MA - and other future locations.

A key highlight of the program is the powerful theatrical performance "Not Born for War," which aims to advance advocacy efforts and ensure international support for Ukraine’s sovereignty. Through this production, audiences will hear the personal stories of Ukrainian defenders courageously protecting the frontlines of democracy. These events seek to strengthen cultural ties, inspire solidarity, and raise awareness about the ongoing war in Ukraine.

About the Performance:

Yevhen Avdeenko – Actor, Honored Artist of Ukraine, warrior, and soldier of the legendary 3rd Separate Assault Brigade – delivers an immersive look into the daily lives of Ukrainian fighters on the front lines, sharing their realities, challenges, and resilience with audiences across the U.S.

A Questions and Answer session will follow the performance. This can also take the form of a community gathering, which may inculde discussions emphasizing the importance of international solidarity and the resilience of the Ukrainian people.
