Event Overview:
The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, Boston Chapter and The Ukrainian Cultural Center of New England are sponsoring in conjunction with other organizations, a commemoration of the 91st  anniversary of Holodomor, the Ukrainian Famine Genocide of 1932-1933. The commemoration will start at 3PM, November 15, 2024, at Boston City Hall Plaza.
The event is dedicated to remembering the victims of the man-made famine, conducted by the Soviet regime of Joseph Stalin, which caused the death, by starvation, of millions of Ukrainians in 1932 and 1933.
The event will feature a brief introduction, comments by honored guests, an opportunity to view an exhibit by the Holodomor Remembrance Committee and will conclude with a brief candle lit ceremony for the victims including an appeal for the end of Genocide on our planet.
