Boston Premiere Weekend of Beyond Bucha – A Powerful New Documentary on Ukraine’s Evangelical Churches
BOSTON, MA — June 7-8, 2025 (see image below for theathers and times)

  • Beyond Bucha, a compelling new documentary exploring the courage and resilience of evangelical churches in wartime Ukraine, will premiere in the Boston area during a special screening weekend, June 7–8. The film focuses on Baptist, Pentecostal, and non-denominational pastors and congregations in cities including Bucha, Kyiv, and Kharkiv, offering an intimate look at the faith and endurance of Ukraine’s evangelical community under the shadow of war.
  • Directed by filmmaker Steve Richards, Beyond Bucha is his third documentary in a series filmed on the ground in Ukraine since the full-scale Russian invasion began in February 2022.
  • Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the director, who will introduce the film and host a Q&A session following each screening.
