The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, Inc. (UCCA), is a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization as defined under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, that has represented the interests of America's
ethnic Ukrainians since 1940.

It is supported by over 70 branch organizations throughout the United States, the Boston Branch counts as one of these.  Each branch is formed and sustained by volunteer local boards, representatives of local organizations
and members at large. The UCCA national headquarters is located in New York City and its public relations office, the Ukrainian National Information Service (UNIS) is situated in our nation's capital. The organization strives to keep its membership base broad and functions as an umbrella organization, helping coordinating efforts that serve the Ukrainian community.
