Event Details:

The Massachusetts Joint Legislative Committee on Education consisting of five Senators and eleven Representatives will hear
testimony directed to adding the study of  the Holodomor to the State curriculum.  The legislation is labeled as House Bill 475 and  Senate Bill 267. 

These bills were drafted by Attorney Paul Rabchenuk, Chairman of the Holodomor Remembrance Committee.

Holodomor Committee member Maria Walzer obtained the assistance of newly elected Representative Jeffrey N. Roy in filing the Bill. Representative Roy became a member of the Joint Committee on Education subsequent to his election.
